Smith Street, Chelsea

A compact urban garden located just off the Kings Road in Chelsea, once belonging to the author of Mary Poppins. Every inch of the garden matters for the young family who will be making the newly renovated property home when completed. The garden is split over a series of levels with clever design to make the journey from one to the other interesting.

Space for exercise was a key element of the design with a pergola having been designed to allow for calisthenics and doubling up as an area over a dining/lounge space and external fireplace. Other features will include an outdoor BBQ, new trellis work to boundaries, an external mirror and weathered metal raised beds to negotiate the lower ground floor level.
